How ScoutD collects, uses and protects personal data across the website and ScoutD for individual scouts.

1. Who we are

ScoutD for individual scouts is a scouting and sports evaluation app for individual use.

Solutions for clubs, agencies, federations or academies are handled through a separate contract and may have specific privacy and data processing terms.

2. Data we may collect

We collect only the data needed to provide, protect and improve ScoutD.

  • Contact data: name, email, organisation, when provided, and message sent through forms.
  • Account data: email, name, language, preferences and subscription status.
  • Billing data: plan, billing cycle, payment status and payment identifiers processed by external providers.
  • Usage data: technical events, errors, usage metrics, device, browser and IP address.
  • ScoutD for individual scouts data: athletes, represented or associated clubs, matches, evaluations, reports, notes, shortlists and uploaded files.
  • Deco AI data: prompts, responses and relevant context needed to generate summaries, analysis or decision support.

3. Athlete data and minors

ScoutD may be used to record information about athletes, including young athletes. Whoever enters that data must ensure they have a lawful basis to do so and comply with obligations that apply to their context.

We do not use athlete data to sell advertising or create commercial profiles outside the service.

4. How we use data

  • Create and manage user accounts.
  • Provide ScoutD for individual scouts features, including scouting, reports, evaluations, shortlists, matches and athlete management.
  • Handle contact, demo and support requests.
  • Manage subscriptions, payments, plan limits and service communications.
  • Maintain security, prevent abuse and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Improve product experience and feature quality.
  • Enable Deco AI features when the add-on is active.

5. Legal bases and GDPR

Where applicable, we process personal data based on contract performance, pre-contractual steps, legal obligations, legitimate interests or consent.

Users may exercise rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability under GDPR.

6. Deco AI

Deco AI is an artificial intelligence assistant inside ScoutD. It can help summarise reports, find information, analyse context and support decisions.

Deco AI should be used as support for human work. Its answers may contain inaccuracies and should be reviewed by scouts, coaches or decision-makers before any decision.

7. Sharing with providers

We may use providers for infrastructure, payments, email, analytics, support and artificial intelligence services. These providers should only process data as needed to provide their services.

We do not sell personal data to third parties.

8. Retention and security

We keep data only for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and protect legitimate rights.

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or improper disclosure.
